Sneezes & Springtime

Sneezes & Springtime

Yep.  The beauty of spring is slowly popping up all around us and we're too busy sneezing to see it.  Allergy medications are hard at work to change this for me but in the meantime, I'll stay indoors sketching flowers and the like from a safe airspace.

New to the shop in March is a curated collection of vintage prints.  I picked a few of my favorites to share with everyone from artists like VanGogh and Seurat on tees to colorful vintage patterns perfect for a one-of-a-kind notebook.  More prints will be added soon so check back every now and then.

What to look for next from the studio  - I'm working on making more of my prints readily available on my website.  I have a few but there's so much more and time is not on my side.  But bit by bit you should see them popping up in the shop, perfectly suited for your wall decor needs.

And of course, because it's spring and all the sketch-worthy things outside become center stage for an artist, I'm working on new botanical prints for my botanists or people who just love plants like me.  Like my philodendron for example.  I love him and I am currently obsessed with sketching him over and over.  You can see one of the studies on my Instagram (sketchboardstudio).  It's become a bit obsessive but like safe obsessive if that's a thing? No harm comes from it besides the fact that all shades of green are now non-existent in my art supplies.

Until next time friends, get outside, take a deep breath and enjoy the day.  Oh but take some tissues with you because sneezing on people in public is not socially acceptable.
